Every year starting in May the Charleston Chapter of Surfrider Foundation conducts weekly beach sweeps at Folly Beach.
If you want to help keep our beaches clean, please feel free to show up at any of our sweeps. No need to be a member, all you need is to be a concerned citizen.
We'll supply gloves and bags. Hope to see you on the beach!

SWEEPS
The sweeps are done at two areas of the beach at the same time, your choice to do the "Pier Area" (Meet at 2nd st. East beach access) or "The Washout" (Meet at first walkover at the washout) .
Bags and gloves supplied by the Chapter.
All sweeps are done every other Tuesday starting on June 21st at 6:30 p.m. and last for 2 hours at most.
